**About the role**:
The APS4 Project Officer will work within defined parameters relating to the area of responsibility. You will be responsible for providing policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation. You will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of stakeholder matters to resolve complex enquiries

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Support participant interviews and observing qualitative data to understand pain points with the current claims and payments process.
- Support research work and analysis of participant feedback through the capture of qualitative data.
- Assist in drafting participant consultation documentation for review by senior staff.
- Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, to support the delivery of projects.
- Provide project administration support to staff and stakeholders.

**MANDATORY**
- Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Administrative Skills
- A positive contemporary attitude to people with disability
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
- The ability to work within a dynamic fast paced environment and work to deadlines/ tight timeframes
- High levels of integrity and professionalism to support our values and mission.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Workers Screening Check (WSC) is an essential requirement for this position
- Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one

**Desirable skills to have for the role**
- This role will likely require travel that will be covered/reimbursed by the business area
- High attention to detail
- Ability to accurately transcribe virtual and in person sessions
- Fast and accurate typing speed
