ABOUT THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our Emergency Mental Health Services (EMHS) team as the Team Leader. The Team Leader plays an integral role providing clinical leadership to all mental health clinicians working within the ED, Mental Health Triage and PACER.

Permanent Full-Time position
- Clinical Leadership and support for the EMHS (PACER, Triage and ECATT) with the opportunity to make a positive difference
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN4), Social Worker (SW3), Occupational Therapist (OT3) or Psychologist (P3).
- Flexible work arrangement options including the opportunity to work across 7 days

- ABOUT YOU:

- Experienced Mental Health Clinician
- Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Resilience and positivity to the daily challenges of working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and to maintain positive workplace culture
- Qualification: Registered with AHPRA with one of the following; a Registered Nurse with Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health, Occupational Therapist, Social Work with eligibility of membership for the Association of Australian Social Workers, or a Psychologist with an approved degree in Psychology.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Mental Health setting

- Mercy Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (South West Area Mental Health Service and Wellbeing Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
