**The role**:
We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated ELICOS teacher who can assist us in teaching our students interested in learning English at our Brisbane campus. The position must work at Beginner to Advanced levels providing English instructions to classes, involving teaching English skills, such as listening, reading, writing and speaking. The teacher will also be responsible for curriculum development and delivery, assessment of student work and reporting results.

In this role you will:

- Deliver lessons to our cohort enrolled in different ELICOS levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced for whom English is a second language.
- Deliver engaging lessons that are based on interactive methodology, delivered face-to-face at the college premises.
- Design assessments according to course curriculum.
- Assist in curriculum development and delivery.
- Conduct assessment of student work and assist in reporting results.
- Plan and run excursions to provide students with opportunities to use their English skills in real-world situations
- Prepare, plan, and maintain meticulous records of each lesson and session.
- Assess students' level, course work and progress.
- Engage professionally in collaboration with other teachers and trainers
- Attend and participate in meetings, professional development sessions, and liaison sessions as required.
- Complete all the administration duties required including attendance monitoring, progress monitoring, and record keeping.
- Work collaboratively with the Student Services team (e.g. certificate requests, attendance letters, promoting social activities).
- Comply with all policies and practices of Page Institute.

**Essential requirements**:

- A degree or diploma of at least three years full-time or equivalent (teaching degree or other)
- A suitable postgraduate TESOL qualification
- Appropriate TESOL teaching experience
- Experience in delivering multiple levels in the same classroom
- Experience and qualified in teaching international students
- A passion for maximising student engagement and student academic performance
- Must be an Australian PR and have full work rights
