This is a casual opportunity, working Monday to Friday between the hours 8am-3:30pm or 12pm - 5:30pm. This role will be commencing in early 2025.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Perform and assist with patient movement in the Medical Imaging service area, and the hospital when clinically required
- Assist with general clinic tasks and other patients of the department in any manner as directed by technical/clerical/medical staff
- Ensure Workplace Health and Safety legislation is complied with
- Providing excellent customer service and patient care
- Maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers

**What we're looking for**:

- Basic ability to handle patient care with compassion and tact, ensuring the patients privacy, dignity and confidentiality is maintained
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact amiably and effectively with both the public and colleagues
- Ability to function effectively as part of a diagnostic health team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to meet relevant QLD Health workplace requirements, including Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
