We are currently recruiting for a Regional Stores Officer in Young.

**About the role**

The Regional Stores Officer will be required to account for the day-to-day stores operations and be responsible for the safe and secure handling of stores and materials within the regional store’s environment. The Officer is responsible for supporting the Resource Supervisors and the Inventory and Logistics Team to achieve a common goal of successfully delivering on the Works Programme objectives and targets.

The role is responsible for ensuring that standard procedures and work practices are implemented with the primary deliverable being excellence in value and service delivery to the customer sector groups and in support of the Essential Energy strategic business objectives.

**About You**
- Experienced stock management skills with the ability to maintain optimum stock levels and effectively utilise available space.
- Demonstrated skills and ability to undertake physical warehousing duties in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Proven and effective customer service and communication skills with an ability to provide excellent customer service in the delivery of stores operations.
- Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring the ability to effectively prioritise and juggle multiple assignments and tasks.

**Required Qualifications**
- Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
- Driver Licence
- Forklift Licence Heavy Rigid Truck Licence - Desirable or willingness to obtain.
