**About the team**
As part of Finance, you will join the Financial Compliance & Business Services team. Finance supports the mission of the University by providing a high quality, end-to end, flexible and responsive financial management and advisory service including provision of corporate financial services.

**About the opportunity**
Reporting to a Senior Accounts Payable Officer, you will provide support for the accurate processing of accounts payable and preparation/reconciliation of associated financial reports. You will provide data management processing for accounts payable functions, process corporate credit card acquittals and monitor and identify correct classification of accounts for allocation within the accounting system. You will also respond to enquiries, prepare internal reports and routine correspondence, and provide advice and information on financial policies and procedures.

In addition, you will participate in the development of plans, strategies and work programs to identify and achieve team outcomes and assist in training other team members to ensure sustainable service levels and continued learning within the team.

**About you**
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have relevant accounting experience at an appropriate level including sound knowledge of financial accounting procedures. You will also have well-developed verbal communication and organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
