Gantry Crane Technician

Job Purpose:
Carrying out periodic inspection and services to the gantry crane (including mechanical and electrical); Troubleshoot technical issues and exhibit problem-solving abilities; support customers lifting operations and help them grow better.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on overhead cranes and lifting equipment. Develop and modify electrical panels and circuits as needed.
- Install, commission and test completed projects, overseeing electrical work. Troubleshoot technical issues and exhibit problem-solving abilities.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of work quality. Availability for overtime work and travel to customer sites as required.
- Maintain a strong emphasis on safety protocols and promote a safe workingenvironment.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience required:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the crane industry.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with a strong technical background.
- Holds a High-Risk Card/OHS EWP License.
- Effective troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organisational skills and effective time management abilities.
- Current Australian driver license.
- Commitment to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment. Flexibility to work overtime and travel to customer sites as needed.
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
