2nd Class MIG Welder with some basic fabrication skills required for the maintenance and repair of large metal bins and skips for a multi-national recycling and waste management company based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Job involves cutting out damaged, bent, or rusted panels and frames and replacing them with new parts that you will measure out, cut, and weld in.
Basic tools and PPE are required including a welding helmet, tape measure, safety shoes, etc. The workshop has everything else including an overhead crane, sheet metal folder, guillotine, drills, and plasma/oxy cutters, etc. A forklift license would be a bonus. Bins will be high-pressure washed using hot water before you work on them.
Job will become permanent after a successful 3 month trial period.
A basic medical will need to be passed before commencement. An induction will be conducted on site before starting.

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
