**The Position**
Climate, energy and disaster risk are crucial, growing and interconnected issues for Australia and the world. The ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions is seeking a Communications Officer/Senior Communications Officer who will be an integral part of the core Institute team supporting 500+ ANU researchers.

The position will play a key role in supporting the events and communications outputs essential to the success of the Institute. The successful applicant will manage the development, promotion and execution of ICEDS events, across in-person, online and hybrid formats. Reporting to the ICEDS Communications Manager, the position will support development of content for the ICEDS website and social media profiles and will contribute to a range of outreach activities across the Institute.

**The Person**
We are looking for someone with demonstrated relevant experience in either communications, events, marketing, media or content management. Knowledge / experience working on climate change, energy or disaster-risk issues and relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded. You will be a highly organised individual with strong communication skills and an interest in developing engaging content.
