Prime Recruitment on behalf of our client is in the market for an experienced Maintenance Officer to work at their aged care facility based in Wembley.
**The main duties of the role involve**:
- Reporting to the Service Manager.
- Repairs carried out on facility fixtures, moving of furniture, moving of beds, hanging of picture frames, changing of leaking & damaged taps, cleaning aircon filters, jet-wash pavers & bins, cleaning & emptying of bins, and maintaining cleanliness on all facility
- General gardening duties
- Potentially travelling to other location
- Assist with waste removal and bins on the facility
- Fit and able to perform the daily tasks on & around the Campus
- Good communication skills
- Flexible with work requests as priorities can change daily
- Able to fit in with the facility Maintenance and Services team and able to work well within a small team environment
- Must hold a current driver’s license and reliable transport
- Hold a National Police Clearance that is not older than 6 months or willing to obtain one
- Have all your basic tools as a Handyperson/Maintenance Officer
**Job details are as follows, namely**:
- Monday to Friday - 38 hour working week
- Flexible start and finish times
- Wembley location
- Temporary to Permanent Position for the right person
- Weekly Pays
