We are currently looking for a Full Time ICT trainers (Advanced Diploma of IT) in Sydney.
Full Time IT trainer & assessor that will be responsible for the re-development/ contextualization, delivery and assessment of accredited IT courses with strong focus on the student centered approach.
Selection criteria:
The successful applicant will have:
Essential Qualifications and Experience in the area of expertise/specialty: General Information Technology, Cybersecurity and Advanced programming
*TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
*At least any one of the following:
- Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Cybersecurity), Advanced Diploma of Network security or its equivalent as per Australian standards and at least any one of the following:
- Advanced Diploma of Information technology, Advanced Diploma of Telecommunications Network Engineering, Graduate Diploma of telecommunications Network Engineering or Graduate Diploma of telecommunications and strategic management
*Experience in training in a classroom environment.
*Ability to continue to develop own vocational and training and assessment competencies in order to maintain currency
2. Demonstrated knowledge in the following categories:
Category 1
- Cybersecurity industry, standards and Frameworks.
- Team effectiveness.
- Design methodologies for security architecture.
- Workplace cyber security awareness and best practices.
Secure encryption technologies.
- IP, ethics and privacy policies in ICT environments.
- Critical infrastructure for organizations.
- Security perimeter for ICT networks.
- ICT security frameworks and system security controls.
- Aligning ICT needs with the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Database design and implementation.
- Implementations of Applications Security.
- Incident response plan, and disaster recovery and contingency plans
- Programming languages including JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, HTML, *MYSQL, NoSQL, PHP, C #, Python and libraries including jQuery.
- Using IDEs such as Android studio and Visual Studio

- Business analysis activities in an ICT environment

- Building data warehouses
- Developing and implementing knowledge management strategies
- Knowledge management systems
- ICT projects management
- Green ICT: Sustainability integration into ICT projects planning and designs
