**Compliance Role and Responsibilities**:
- Monitor firm-wide compliance and provide compliance support to ensure the firm is operationally compliant
- Manage day-to-day operation of the compliance program and implementation of all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that policies, procedures and standards of conduct are communicated, understood and appropriately implemented
- Review all relevant new business client contact / documentation and ensure a compliant advice process has been adhered to as well as periodical review of existing business cases
- Provide appropriate advice on compliance matters and compliance/AMLCFT training for the staff
- Monitor changes to local legislation and rules affecting the firm’s business including FMA’s updates and advise management and staff on the implications of these changes
- Recommend improvements where appropriate and ensure that the compliance manual and policies and procedures are kept up-to-date in light of developing regulations
- Maintaining good working relationship with the regulator
- Serve as the firm’s AMLCFT / Money Laundering Reporting Officer and perform all associated duties
- Liaison with Regional Compliance
**Admin Responsibilities**:
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice Liaising with external accountant
- Monitor and maintain financial documentation and records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
**Requirements**:
- A working knowledge of financial principals and compliance rules and regulations
- Experience in demonstrating legal and regulatory obligations are met through appropriate monitoring, research and reporting.
- Self-starter with good execution focus and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with using Xero/QuickBooks is an advantage.
*Possess preferably a Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, finance, law, or related field.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
