MAYDAY Recruitment is actively looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of
**Head of Risk, Information and Grading** within a leading global Trade Credit Insurance company.

As the Head of Risk, Information and Grading, you will be responsible for providing efficient and professional information sourcing and internal grading services to internal clients. You will also manage a team of analysts, collaborate with external suppliers, and ensure smooth operations of internal grading systems.

**What will you be doing?**
- Manage a team of credit analysts and support staff across multiple states.
- Monitor buyer risk portfolio, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee all aspects related to information provision, including contracts and content.
- Manage the automated grading model and improve data receipt interface.
- Ensure the Risk Underwriting team has access to high-quality information.
- Collaborate with the team, set, and attain KPIs to drive success.
- Maintain data management control and ensure reliability.
- Define local information strategy in line with AZT standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Monitor credit risk evolution and economic risks in the region (Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands)
- Manage a cost centre while adhering to budget constraints.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field: Business Administration, Finance, or Risk Management
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a successful track record in managing similar responsibilities
- Awareness of credit insurance and economic factors impacting risk.
- Strong leadership skills and ideally, experience managing teams.
- Proficient in risk assessment and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective negotiation skills
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with IT tools, system and data management.
