**About the Role**

Seize the opportunity to lead as a Payroll Team Leader in the healthcare industry with this 12-month fixed-term role. Collaborate closely with the Payroll Manager to oversee the payroll function, including pay run processing, statutory returns, salary packaging, and timely superannuation and tax payments. Maintain strict adherence to internal controls and processes, drive process improvements, and propose strategies to streamline payroll workflows while delivering exceptional customer service.

**Key Accountabilities**
- **Processing I-MED Payroll and Managing Employee Files**: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and maintain up-to-date employee records.
- **Delivering High-Level Customer Service**: Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- **Managing a Team of Payroll Coordinators**: Lead and supervise Payroll Coordinators, ensuring effective handling of responsibilities and support for payroll operations.
- **Ensuring Accurate and Timely Payroll Processing**: Complete payroll processes with precision and within designated timeframes.
- **Liaising with Business Partners and Key Stakeholders**: Communicate and collaborate to ensure alignment and address payroll-related concerns.
- **Engaging with Team Members**: Foster a collaborative environment, offering guidance and ensuring team alignment with goals.
- **Providing Leadership and Support**: Offer coaching and support to team members, promoting efficiency and skill development.
- **Assisting in New Payroll Systems Implementation**: Support the rollout and integration of new payroll systems for a smooth transition.
