**Your opportunity**

As a passionate human centric **Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner**, you’ll partner with the Urban Utilities Environment and Industrial group and work with the operational leadership to support the consistent delivery and implementation of HSW activities across the organisation in order to improve on HSW outcomes and overall performance. Along with running our 20+plants, the Environment and Industrial Group also manage the developer connections, trade waste and water ventures divisions.

With perseverance, adaptability, and kindness - you’ll achieve this through:

- Coaching, guiding and supporting our people and frontline leaders on safety procedures and protocols, empowering them to take ownership and improve safety outcomes by building internal safety capabilities,
- Engage and consult with stakeholders to implement opportunities for innovation and improvement in safety and wellbeing,
- Manage, coordinate and conduct internal safety investigations to identify risks, trends and patterns, providing back valuable insights and recommendations,
- Liaise and consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of Work Health and Safety advice and business partnering services,
- Providing advice and championing the organisations HSW policies and procedures to identify and mitigate health and safety risks in the workplace,
- Utilising primary data sources and select information to analyse key themes and trends.

- A genuine drive, motivation and passion for safety and being a part of a broader team to achieve a goal
- The ability to build relationships working with leaders, managers, supervisors and front-line workers to influence and coach HSW operational performance outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to drive safety strategies and implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining WHS systems with a preference for ISO 450001
- Well-developed computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft office suite
- Demonstrated experience working in a safety business partnering role or similar within a highly regulated and high-risk industry
- Masters or Bachelor in Workplace Health and Safety or similar discipline
- Holding a C class drivers licence is a mandatory requirement of the role.

We’d also love you to have:

- Training and certification in the following, Rehabilitation and Return to Work Co-ordination, ICAM Lead Investigator, Lead Auditor, Fire Safety, Prosci, Cert. IV in TAE, Safety in Design, HAZOP, Bow Tie Facilitation, Construction Management, Confined Space and Working at Heights.

You’ll need to be a genuine people person who’ll pitch in alongside your team, with the tenacity to drive change and deliver real outcomes. You’ll care about the important work we do and have a fire in your belly for helping to shape our future too.
