Supervisor - Murray and Riverina Regions

**About the role**

Abergeldie is a trusted delivery Partner of WaterNSW. Due to upcoming works awarded we are now seeking Expressions of Interest for a Supervisor to coordinate mechanical and structural works on behalf of WaterNSW on their Asset, Renewals and Replacement Program (ARRP).

We are looking for a **Supervisor **from a strong trade background with hands on experience within utility infrastructure to work on projects in the Southwestern (Murray and Riverina) region of NSW.

Reporting to the Project Manager the successful **Supervisor** will ensure effective coordination of resource, plant and equipment between work crews/site activities.

**Your responsibilities**
- Management of trade rosters and coordination of trades across site
- Review and interpret construction plans
- Coordinate site set out/set up and all construction activities
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and promote a positive work environment
- Facilitate daily pre starts and weekly toolbox talks for each site
- Create/rollout SWMS - Ensure the safety of the team and site staff
- Conduct inspections to identify and manage potential risks
- Management of plant, labour and subcontractors
- Procurement of materials, tools, machinery and supplies as needed
- Produce project reports for your Project Manager (Budget and Program)
- Ensure all works carried out comply with WaterNSW' strict environmental policies and quality standards

**What you need**
- Be an excellent communicator both upstream to clients and downstream to trades, as well as client project, maintenance & operations staff
- Hold a trade qualification
- Work history in South Western NSW (Murray, Riverina)
- Safety focus & leadership experience
- Client focus and awareness
- Hands on proactive supervisor with good all-round knowledge with existing tier 2 / 3 contractor preferred
- Sound knowledge of NSW Health and Safety Regulations and practices Exposure to civil infrastructure and structural work
- Able to work autonomously with support from a Project Manager/Project Engineers
- Available to work regionally with jobs in the Riverina
- Existing water structure/infrastructure preferred but not essential
- Mechanical/Electrical experience an advantage
- Contacts for suppliers, subcontractors in SW NSW
- Willing to travel, ability to work in remote areas
- Self-motivated leader, site responsibility
