**We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic NDIS Support Workers for Community Access Activities.**

A driver's license and a car to provide support to our clients located in the Parramatta Area

You will be responsible for ensuring that the people you support have meaningful engagement with the community in all its forms and that their complex needs are being met. Our clients might only have small goals but we believe in a one-step-at-a-time process to support them on their way to achieving.
- Transporting to/from appointments and day programs;
- **Cleaning/domestic assistance;**:

- Meal preparation;
- **Shopping;**
- Banking/Bill paying

**What we are looking for**:

- Great active listening and communication skills.
- Ability to redirect and/or diffuse escalating situations.
- Confidence asserting boundaries and maintaining professional relationships.
- Able to keep accurate and objective documentation for progress notes, incident reports and shift handovers.
- Fluent English speaking, easy-going, and patience is a must.
- 6 to 14 Hours a week. It is possible for weekend work too.
- Having prior experience in the field of disiabilities would be beneficial.
- Clients may have infants and older children and other family members to be worked with in the household.

This position is open to casual staff as well as an opportunity for a Subcontractor who has obtained their own ABN and has the correct insurances in place. **Pay will be more for this type of employment, let us know when applying.**

If you can see yourself having a coffee and a slice of cake and completing daily errands around the house and out in the community this position could suit you.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
