**THE COMPANY**

**Omnia **is a comfortable and elegant bistro and bar located at the base of Capitol Grand in South Yarra, one of the most iconic corners in Melbourne. Backed by an all-star team of award-winning Chef’s and industry leaders, the group is on the hunt for the best talent to take the already well-established restaurant to the next level

**THE ROLE**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain the highest level of personal wine, grower, and supplier knowledge, being up to date with latest products, influences, growing regions and vintages.
- Team mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Maximising sales
- Ability to build and nurture healthy relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers.

**THE MUST HAVES**
- Valid Victorian RSA
- WSET level 3, CMS certification or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Sommelier in fine dining restaurant environments
- Strong wine knowledge
- Excellent presentation
- Ability to mentor and develop staff
- Ability to be dynamic and multi-task harmoniously across multiple areas of the business
- Outstanding leadership skills and attention to detail.
