A key member of the Operations Leadership Team, reporting to the Executive General Manger-Operations, the position of Warehouse & Distribution Manager will take full responsibility for the warehousing and transport operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role is accountable for managing an efficient supply chain across inbound and outbound activities, while ensuring efficient and effective utilization of our warehousing footprint in line with safe practices and customer requirements.

You will have full responsibility for providing leadership to all warehousing and transport personnel ad will actively drive performance through your hands on approach and deliver on key operational KPIs and to achieve objectives (DIFOT, Transport SLA’s, Case fill, Inventory record accuracy, stock rotation, FIFO principals).

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Enabling high performing team across all owned and third-party warehouses across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring succession plans are in place for all key roles and tasks.
- High levels of pro-active collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive a customer centric culture, ensuring customer needs are anticipated and delivered on. Delivery on time and in full.
- Optimisation of all warehousing operations to ensure quality, inventory accuracy, performance and cost objectives are met to support the customer experience.
- Establish, deploy, and monitor KPIs as necessary to measure performance against customer and strategic expectations.
- Oversee adherence to WHS and Transport practices in accordance with relevant state legislation, company protocols and chain of responsibility.
- Manage third party transport providers as necessary to complement and optimize our network and service to customers.
- Negotiation of cartage contracts and management of inbound/outbound freight performance.

**And to be successful we think you’ll need**:

- At least 7-10 years’ experience in managing a warehouse role, preferably in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Additionally, a degree in warehousing, distribution or logistics will be highly regarded
