THE OPPORTUNITY
The Multimedia Specialist (Art Direction) is responsible for the standard and quality of design delivered by The Working Party. As well as leading delivery for individual brands you’ll oversee the output of the work produced by the design team.

The Working Party aims to be a design led eCommerce agency, focussing on increasing brand value though original,
brand-led and customer-centric experiences - underpinned by best-in-class technology. The Multimedia Specialist (Art Direction) plays a critical role in setting and producing the industry leading standard of work The Working Party aims to achieve as well as validating design through data, testing, and iterating design decisions to further deliver success to our brand partners.

Finally, the Multimedia Specialist (Art Direction) is the custodian of The Working Party brand. You’ll ensure all design assets meet design requirements as well as produce or oversee the production of work product for The Working Party.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Inspire the client, and the internal team, through innovative and unique, brand centric concepts and art direction.
Review all work product for projects where ‘brand elevation’ is a project goal
Follow the design process as well as champion improvements and implement them effectively into the design practice.
Assist the business development and client services team scope and estimate work, communicating the value and complexity of the work delivered, whilst also factoring in commercial constraints
Deliver work on budget and within the timelines - using the touchpoints in business development and design process improvement to manage expectations balancing commercial considerations
Use data to improve design to impact key eCommerce metrics
Own the visual design style and product created for The Working Party. Treat our design process as we would a client - to have our own unique brand identity, and to ensure all public facing assets meet the design standard
Review all internal design work prior to presenting the design to clients
Mentor and coach internal designers to increase their ability to deliver
Contribute to The Working Party marketing including but not limited to producing or overseeing production of design assets to support marketing and business development efforts

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
7 years’ + of visual web design, UX and UI design work experience - you have a proven understanding of layouts, responsive capabilities, and technologies relevant to Shopify Plus and general eCommerce.
The ability to onboard each brands DNA and produce design that is unique, delivers exceptional user experience and creates an online experience of the brand identity
A proven track record of designing UI that improves user experience and revenue
You have a deep understanding of the unique challenges of the verticals we focus on - fashion, jewellery, luxury, athleisure, health & beauty, food & beverage and consumer electronics
You work adeptly in Figma, and you are familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of web development as well as common eCommerce UX patterns
You can interpret data to improve design from a brand and user experience point of view as well as to impact key ecommerce metrics such as revenue
You can impact design processes - communicating to the internal teams and to clients the value proposition of our design approach and process, iterating and improving it over time
You can meet budgets and timelines
You are adept at using project tracking tools and software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
An ability to learn new skills quickly and thoroughly

**Salary**: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Hawthorn, VIC 3122: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
