Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to assemble mechanical equipment
- Install and maintain machinery, including but not limited to conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and cleaning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace defective components
- Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and other team members to ensure the efficient and effective operation of equipment
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in mechanical fitting
