Downer acts as the facility manager at The Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH). The RAH is the largest, busiest and most technologically advanced hospital in Australia with 800 single in-patient rooms, including 100 same-day beds and 80,000 same-day and overnight patient admissions per year.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Menu Management Systems Officer and working within the Patient Food Services team, the Diet Liaison Assistant is responsible for the provision of a safe meal service through the electronic meal ordering system and monitoring of the tray line service to ensure all patient diet requirements are met.

This position will draw on your strong time management ability, accuracy and personable attitude to deliver high quality service outcomes when undertaking a range of DLA related duties.

To be successful in this role, you will hold the following experience and attributes:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a Food Service environment is desirable
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable
- Current Food Hygiene Certificate / Work Place Hygiene Certificate is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of allergen and dietary requirements
- Able to develop productive working relationships with team members
- Excellent time management skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate consistency and reliability Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel and Meal Management / Ordering System)
