A rare opportunity exists for PMO Analyst to join a newly formed team tasked with establishing the new Department of Government Services.
About us The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the role The PMO Analyst will be responsible for supporting and assisting in the delivery of the Establishment, Transition and Transformation Program, including developing the PMO function and activities and communicating information clearly and succinctly to decision makers and stakeholders within DGS.
About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience working in a Project or Program Management Office, including strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and project management tools.
- Strong acumen and ability to think on your feet combined with robust problem-solving to drive the right outcomes.
- Proven conceptual and analytical skills, strong initiative and a ‘can do' approach to identify issues and develop appropriate solutions to solve business problems and improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Other relevant information
