Job Scope
We are currently recuriting for Procurement Officer (Pumps-Cyclones-Valves) APAC. In this role you will ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services necessary for the Pumps-Cyclones-Valves mineral processing operations.
How you will help us achieve this:
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, equipment, and services related to PCV mineral processing operations.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost-effective procurement.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing, reduce costs, and ensure the availability of quality materials.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyze procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to improve efficiency.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and regulatory compliance.
- Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to manage inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and minimize stockouts.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to track procurement performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and engineering, to support business objectives and project requirements.
- Additionally, familiarity with mineral processing industry standards, regulations, and best practices would be beneficial in this role.
What you will bring:
- Procurement Experience: Previous experience in procurement roles, preferably in the mineral processing or related industry.
- Supplier Management: Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers and vendor relationships.
- Contract Negotiation: Proven experience in negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Risk Management: Experience in assessing and mitigating procurement-related risks.
- Compliance: Familiarity with procurement compliance requirements and practices.
- Inventory Management: Experience in inventory control, stock management, and optimization.
- Data Analysis: Experience in data analysis and reporting to support procurement decision-making.
