**About the Role**

Our Catering Team provides around 600+ covers per day to our patients, doctors and internal functions. This role will work in front and back of house, having a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

- Setting up, plating, and distributing patient meals and beverages
- Morning & afternoon tea service
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required
- Maintaining cleanliness within the department and at ward level
- Being responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wants

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Catering Assistant
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage a high volumes of catering workflows

Desirable criteria:

- Prior experience using Chefmax
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality
- Prior experience in a hospital setting
- Qualification in Food Safe and HACCP principles

**_Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning, afternoon and night shifts, is critical for this role._**

**Remuneration**

A base hourly rate ranging from **$24.54 - $27.30** + penalty rates, based on experience level and qualifications.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19, **a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
