The purpose of the IT Risk Manager role is to develop and implement a comprehensive technology risk management framework and strategy working with key stakeholders within IT.

**Key Skills & Responsibilities**
- Experience (3+ years) in technology risk management, IT audit, or a related field, preferably in a managerial role
- IT Governance: Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, controls, and best practices to ensure effective risk management throughout the organisation
- Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, evaluate IT systems and processes, identify potential risks, and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Audit Support: Experience supporting internal and external audits, addressing audit findings, and implementing necessary controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Ability to develop and update IT risk management policies, standards, and procedures to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Audit, Compliance and Operational Risk processes or system security risk management practices
- In-depth knowledge of technology risk management frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and their implications for technology risk management.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to think systematically when problem solving.
- Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders and building robust working relationships.
- Team player who takes the initiative to lead by example.
