**The role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Helpdesk Technician to join our ICT team. The Helpdesk Technician role is responsible for effectively responding to daily helpdesk queries and supporting the School community’s ubiquitous access to technology to learn and work effectively.

The role will visibly liaise with students, staff, parents and the broader School community each day. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment but can also work efficiently autonomously and must have strong organisational skills and an emphasis on systems and processes. The role also affords the opportunity to assist in managing and supporting the use of high-quality Audio/Visual solutions throughout the School.

This is a **full-time, on-site, permanent position commencing immediately**.

**To be considered, applicants must possess the following attributes**:

- Have experience supporting Audio/Visual solutions within classroom, performance and/or event spaces.
- Have relevant and demonstrated previous experience in a similar role.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of computer operating systems.
- Possess good understanding of computer hardware, drivers, network operating environments, Microsoft Networking, and printing equipment.
- Have experience with upgrading computer hardware.
- Have experience installing and working with Windows, iOS, MacOS as well as Microsoft Office and a range of academic software.
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and document and maintain records in an accurate, logical, and accessible manner.
- Provide exceptional service and support experiences to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Have high level communication skills.
- Can work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative, and collaborative team.
- Be willing to be involved in all aspects of the School’s program.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to following the School’s child safety expectations, principles and policies.
- Have a current Employee Working with Children Check
- Must have a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months) or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
