u&u are partnering with a reputable organisation to recruit an AML Manager. As the AML Manager, your primary role will be crucial in advancing a stream of remediation for operational projects. You will play a pivotal role in driving and guiding a team of analysts and work closely with key senior stakeholders to inform actions, decisions and compliance.

**Key accountabilities**:
Develop, manage and support the remediation management functions of the AML Remediation team;
Establish a robust operating rhythm with daily, weekly and monthly reporting and insights to remediation progress;
Monitor productivity and quality metrics, reporting progress and issues to management;
Define and embed remediation methodology and quality frameworks with support tools (including visual management);
Assess business performance and quality on a regular basis and share insights with leadership and key stakeholders;
Coach, encourage and enable all team members to achieve their potential through training, cross skilling and development;
Proactivity identify and manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements;
Perform control testing, adhere to process and procedures pertinent to the role, escalate events or breaches as they are identified;
Manage the close interaction between the operations team and AML project resources to ensure seamless communication and consistency; and

Identification of opportunities to improve risk mitigation by tightening controls and/or procedures.

**Your Attributes**:
Demonstrated experience and understanding of Anti Money Laundering/Counter Terrorism Financing compliance and risk frameworks, and, Know Your Customer methodology, preferable across back-office operational banking or financial services;
Experience in a similar role, specifically working and supporting remediation activity;
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with high attention to detail;
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels required to drive forward and influence results;
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-moving, agile environment, including autonomously with mínimal supervision;
Experience leading, engaging, motivating and working within a small team, with proven ability to collaboratively and cohesively deliver toward a common goal to meet deadlines;
Analytical thinking and strong ability to successfully resolve complex problems;
Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to report clearly and objectively to various audiences;
Strong adherence to policy and procedure;
Proven customer service orientation with clear accountability and ownership on delivery outcomes;
Demonstrated willingness and ability to embrace organisational change including use of technology; and

Ability to analyse and problem solve in the context of change and continuous improvement.
