**The Opportunity**

The redevelopment of the Australian War Memorial’s galleries and precinct is the most significant redevelopment in the organisation’s 83 year history. The $500m multi-year project will deliver a substantial expansion of existing gallery spaces, a new southern extension, atrium (glazed link), and an enhanced Anzac Hall.

The Memorial is seeking talented and energetic BB3/APS6 staff to join the Gallery Development team. The team is responsible for delivery of up to 7,000 of new exhibitions.

The Gallery Development team is a large, multidisciplinary team working to deliver new permanent exhibitions on modern conflict. Exhibition teams have completed major phases of design development, finalising the content, concept and developed design stages. The roles will join the team at an exciting and dynamic phase of the project, contributing towards finalising the curatorial research, display interpretation and multimedia content to ensure delivery of the exhibitions in the final quarter of 2025.
As a member of one of the exhibition teams you will have exposure to the development of the exhibition’s interpretation and Multimedia experiences. You will also have the opportunity to work in partnership with community, to ensure the stories of modern conflicts are represented in diverse ways that are relevant to broad audiences.
