**The Role**
This role will see you focus on the daily management of the stores including the safe, timely and accurate ordering, receipting, and storing of inventory. It's offered on a 7 days on and 7 days off roster.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Raise Purchase orders for stocked and non-stocked inventory item
- Assist with tendering process, gathering information, collate packages and outcome analysis
- Maintain optimum stock levels on site including min/max stock levels
- Analysis of obsolete inventory reports
- Undertake cyclical inventory counts
- Undertake weekly and monthly key consumable issues and tracking
- Operate and maintain the warehouse in a safe and effective manner
- Perform storeman duties as and when required and backfill storeman role when required including annual leave and position vacancy including;
- Receipting and booking of stock into stores
- Booking out inventory used
- Physical movement and organisation of stock in the warehouse
- Organise freight inwards and outwards including physical delivery of goods to designated site stock points
- Undertake cyclical inventory counts to ensure adequate inventory levels
- Maintain delivery and dispatch records
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure business needs are supported
- Develop and maintain inventory procedure.

**About You**
- Qualifications in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field would be advantageous
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role including warehouse skills
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software (Pronto would be an advantage)
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of data, reports etc.
- Planning and organizing skills
- Current C class drivers license
- Forklift License
- Security clearance (to handle explosives) UHL license or be willing to obtain.
