Quaker Advisor

We are calling for Expressions of Interest from Friends within Hobart and across Australia to fill the role of Quaker Advisor at The Friends’ School for a one year tenure with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement.

Broadly, the role of the Quaker Advisor is to support the Principal, the Gathering Advisors and the staff at the school in maintaining and further developing its strong Quaker ethos. A Position Description for the role is **located here**, however, as a new position, will be negotiated in more detail with the successful applicant. Whilst ideally the Quaker Advisor would be resident in Hobart, we are open to negotiating flexible working arrangements for applicants outside of Hobart/Tasmania, which might see them, for example, in residence at the School for two weeks per term, rather than two days per week; or a hybrid engagement of online and in-person support.
