Job Details:
Job Summary: This position is required to be able to interpret and portray an assigned role within a highly holistic training environment. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Role play assigned roles with an enthusiastic and professional manner, and maintain character role for duration of scenario
- Dress in manner required to meet client needs
- May be required to utilise a script as part of role play scenarios
- May be required to live and work with Australian army soldiers
- Be courteous and treat all people with respect and dignity
- Adhere to all written and verbal instructions provided by Defence personnel whilst on Defence Land
- May be required to work 12 hours (accumulative) in any one 24-hour period, by day and at night as required by the role play position and client
- Able to endure a degree of hardship, including conducting foot patrols, riding in armored trucks and living in a tent in a bush as required
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of living quarters and/or uniform as is appropriate

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
- Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
- Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
- Has a relevant degree of physical fitness
- Good command of the English language
- Depending on role, may be advantageous to have previous military experience or understanding of military procedures
- Depending on role, able to extract key information from a written scenario brief at short notice
- Depending on role, may be able to speak a foreign language such as Dari, Tetum, Pigeon or Arabic

Personal Qualities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate well verbally
- Able to take direction and undertake a variety of role player tasks as required
- Able to remain in character for a prolonged period

Condition of Employment:
Successful outcome of a National Police Check
