**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our Tradecoast team in Eagle Farm as a Dispatch Coordinator. BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

As a dispatch coordinator, you will plan, co-ordinate and control the dispatch of our products, ensuring high levels of customer service is met. You will be interacting with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain and sales to ensure high levels of customer service are being met.

This role is a 38-hr work week working Monday-Friday 12PM - 8PM. Enjoy a competitive remuneration package including our profit share program (annual bonus). **What Will You Do?**

In this critical role you will be responsible for:

- planning transport requirements for customer orders
- managing inbound and outbound stock, load allocation and load planning
- liaising with customer service, sales and operations teams, along with third-party transport providers
- identifying areas for process improvements in planning, vehicle utilisation and compliance
- upholding high safety standards with issues related to transportation and load restraint compliance
