In the role of Principal Advisor (Operational Insights) you will be responsible for the data governance, monitoring and reporting of services provided by external service providers for Go Card ticketing, Smart Ticketing, Qld School Ticketing and Tracking Solution (TATS) and On Demand Transport (ODT). You will serve as a gatekeeper for Ticketing Operation's data so stakeholders can understand and use the date for problem solving and strategic business decisions

**Accountabilities include**:

- Responsibility for Data Platform Governance ensuring the policies and procedures across databases, stores and data warehouses are adequately managed.
- Verifying supplier controls across data systems and databases including coordination and follow-up on fixing defects and other data-related problems and incidents.
- Prepare reports and intelligent analytics that effectively communicate performance on availability and reliability, as well as trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Perform analysis and transformation of data into insights that drive business value through use of data analytics, data visualization and data modelling techniques and technologies, to identify trends that can help the Ticketing Operations team support revenue collection, make business decisions and improve processes.
- Selectively implement scenario modelling and machine learning to support decision-making based on complex data sets (with multiple input varables and limited outputs/goals).
- Undertake ongoing analysis and data modelling design using data collected from multiple sources and databases throughout the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the development of policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data and the implementation of new data analysis methodologies.
- Monitor Operations dashboards, analytics and metrics results, and perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies and recommend solutions to the Operations teams.
- Work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to document and track the delivery of all data and reporting required for Ticketing Operations.
- Consult with data owners to identify and then oversee the delivery of operational reporting required for the Ticketing Operations team as well as any ad-hoc or new reporting requirements identified with stakeholders.
- Manage the requirements, design and delivery of the operational reporting specifications with the Supplier, which underpin the performance management regime for the Ticketing Operations team.
- Manage the delivery of all operational management reports that support the tracking and delivery of Ticketing Operations activities.
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
