We are looking for a broker to join a professional team of marine brokers. While you ideally have experience in marine insurance - it would be better if **you’re excited about all things on the ocean and under the sea.** As part of a mid-sized brokerage, the position can be** Brisbane or North Queensland-based**.

**about you**:

- You have **enthusiasm and knowledge** for all things marine and the know-how to support clients with insurance claims.
- You’re **collaborative in your approach** and love participating in a team where you can contribute and influence.
- ** Self-motivated and structured**, you know the questions that need to be asked to support and service your clients.
- You **have Tier 1 Insurance Broking** (minimum), ideally with additional tertiary studies (desired).
- You **enjoy problem-solving**, with the ability to communicate insurance solutions clearly.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- You’ll **confidently negotiate** the terms and conditions to ensure your clients have the best insurance coverage.
- You’ll deliver clients with **prompt and accurate information** to address their insurance needs.
- You’ll **foster and maintain relationships** with current clients, key stakeholders and underwriters to support growth.
- You’ll use your strength as an **excellent communicator** to explain decisions and influence clients.
