We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join a successful Australian retail organization. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of IT systems. This is a critical role that will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of the business' retail technology infrastructure and supporting business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the IT function of all stores across AU & NZ
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the retail technology infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Manage internal & external IT teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement IT solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure system stability and scalability.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide end-user support and training to ensure efficient utilization of AP21
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for their integration into the organization's IT strategy

**Key Experience**:

- Proven experience in managing IT systems, preferably in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AP21 or a similar enterprise retail system
- Proficient in system implementation, maintenance, and support, with a deep understanding of retail business processes.
- Relevant business, IT or computer system qualification is desired
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices
