- Feb 28, 2024A terrific opportunity awaits an experience VCE General Maths Teacher to become part of a well-respected Catholic Secondary school in Point Cook, in a full-time role starting Term 2, until the end of the year, with ongoing possibilities. Working with year 11 students teaching Units 1-2 General Maths and year 12 students teaching General Baccalaureate Maths.

**Key Duties**
- Prepare students for the VCE Maths examinations by teaching content, problem-solving strategies, and examination techniques.
- Administer practice exams and assessments to gauge students' readiness and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize technology tools and resources effectively to enhance VCE Maths instruction, including graphing calculators, mathematical software, online resources, and digital learning platforms.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in VCE Maths education, teaching methodologies, curriculum developments, and assessment strategies

**Skills & Experience**:

- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Hold a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Experience in VCE Mathematics instruction
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years Highly developed interpersonal skills
- An understanding and appreciation of Catholic teachings, values, and traditions are essential for teaching within the Catholic system, or a preparedness to be working within this system
