Your role at Clorox:
The role of Commercial Manager - Professional Products is critical to exceeding company growth goals across ANZ. Effectively leading and developing state based direct reports and the management of national accounts will be key in achieving success across this growth portfolio.

The focus of this role is to drive good growth (profitable, responsible, sustainable, steady) across our strategic Professional Products portfolio. This role builds the long-range development plan and growth strategies including what is required to execute with success (new product development, trade funds, etc.); is expected to keep operations lean and simple. The Commercial manager will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to develop viable plans.

This role is responsible and accountable for plan execution delivering on financial commitments. They will drive customer management excellence and play a key role with all strategic partnerships. They will also lead and develop a state based team of direct reports to execute the plans.

In this role, you will:
1. Achieve growth and key commercial targets across the defined portfolio while evolving the product mix profitably and playing a leading role in delivery of the wider business strategy.

2. Effectively lead direct reports to achieve company goals while developing skillsets.

3. Engage, influence and/or lead collaboratively to drive key cross-functional focus required to achieve portfolio commercial and strategic objectives.

4. Manage trade spending aligned with each customer strategic role and within company guidelines and processes.

What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:

- 5+ years proven sales management and channel leadership experience gained in a B2B environment, preferably within the food service, commercial cleaning or office supply industries.
- Proven experience in leading a regionally based sales team to success with a passion for coaching and developing people.
- Existing relationships within some or all channels (food service, commercial cleaning/office supply industries).
- Exposure to product importation approval processes such as the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) will be highly regarded.
