We’re looking for an experienced **Signals Technician** to safely maintain and improve our rail signalling asset which includes the world’s first autonomous heavy haul system, Autohaul.

This role is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who are looking to join a friendly and professional team, supported by leaders who will provide opportunities for you to grow and learn.

With the role being based in Tom Price we have a lifestyle and roster to suit you offering an 8 day on, 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off roster.

Reporting to the Signals Supervisor off, you will:

- Efficiently carry out planned maintenance and inspections of train control signalling and associated communications to provide safe and reliable operation of the railway.
- Safely support the Rail Network Renewal activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of improvement projects and propose improvements to maintenance processes.
- Communicate regularly with key stakeholders including Train Control, Rail operations, and Engineering Support regarding the signalling system performance.
- Identify faults and implement permanent solutions.

**What You’ll Bring**

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

- A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your team
- A Grade WA Electrical License
- Certificate IV in Rail Signalling
- Current Manual 'C' Class Driver’s License
- Experience in Rail Signalling
- Excellent communications skills; and proven ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and systems

**It will also be beneficial if you have**:

- Vital / Radio / IP Communications knowledge
- Knowledge of relevant computer programs including SAP
