_**Your main responsibility is to be the point of contact between support workers on shift, clients/ SIL Houses, and the Service Delivery Manager, who will be office based. **_
- **At times, we may request you to assist with the on-call day/nightyou will be paid the on-call allowance rate for this. **_
- **At times, your roster may need to be changed or adapted to suit the companies and client’s needs. It is expected that as the Team Leader you will make all attempts to try and assist where required to assist the business in these instances. **_

1. Quality Services
- Ensure the service is managed in alignment with the Vision, and Strategic Priorities, and that all legislative requirements are always adhered to.
- Coordinate and carry out in a cooperative and respectful and flexible manner all agreed tasks and activities aimed at meeting the clients personal/living community needs, team objectives and/or program goals.
- Ensure relevant Policies and Procedures are followed by all staff, including recording, and filing of client information.
- Respond to emergency situations within specified guidelines (i.e. Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures, service facility duty roster), and seek assistance for situations outside of specified guidelines
- Oversee the development of client support plans by Disability Support Workers in collaboration with families/carers and ensure plans are updated regularly and reviewed annually.
- Ensure safe work practices by following workplace health and safety systems, reporting incidents, and taking appropriate actions for hazards, accidents, and incidents.
- Participate in all reviews by external quality organisations (Community Visitor program, Quality & Safety Commission, Public Guardian, Advocates, etc) and work with the team, the Service Delivery Manager, and other key staff to implement recommendations.
- Accurately complete all relevant forms (incident forms, maintenance requests, vehicle checks, order forms etc) in a timely manner and forward to relevant person following the agreed policy and procedure

2. Team Development
- Actively support and create an environment that promotes open communication, continuous improvement, training, and skill development
- Support and assist Disability Support Workers in their daily interaction with clients as required.
- Be involved in on-the-job training and/or service facility orientation of staff, students, trainees and/or volunteers as requested by Service Delivery Manager

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated skills supporting and caring for people with disabilities and complex support needs.
- High level coordination, and administration skills.
- High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and communicate effectively within a team.
- Possession of First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Access to fully insured and registered vehicle
- Possession of or willingness to obtain a Positive Notice ‘Yellow’ Card and Blue Card
- Completion of NDIS Orientation Certificate
- Ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations.

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
