Warehouse Associate

What to Expect
- We have an exciting opportunity to join the TESLA warehouse in our Melbourne team. Based in Truganina, the warehouse manages the movement of Parts for our Electric Vehicle supply chain through to our Service Centres.

The Warehouse Associate looks after the backend support tasks for inbound ordering of the Tesla Parts Distribution warehouse. You will also be responsible for helping to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. We’re searching for experienced new team members who are driven and motivated to contribute to our mission of accelerating the world to sustainability.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Contribute to all warehouse duties and help the team achieve all KPI targets.
- Perform, investigate, and report daily cycle counts.
- Analyse and report on warehouse inventory movements.
- Help maintain high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Create and print orders for the warehouse team.
- Coordinate both incoming and outbound freight, including exports.
- Responsible for the filing and storage of warehouse documentation.
- Receipt orders into the warehouse management system.
- Report any inefficiencies and productivity improvements.
- Follow safety guidelines & procedures and report unsafe conditions.
- Uphold all Tesla values.

What You’ll Bring
- Prior experience in an Inventory or Logistics Coordinator position is highly preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of warehouse functions, processes, and systems.
- Microsoft Office suite skillset, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and develop.
- Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts, including weekends where required (with appropriate compensation).
- Computing skills and ability to use warehouse tools (RF Scanners, WMS, etc)
- Forklift license is a bonus.
- Experience in the logistics Automotive/Parts industry is advantageous.
