MannaCare is a community based not-for-profit organisation which supports older people living in the Eastern Region. We provide and maintain a range of services, including Residential Aged Care and Community Care.

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a NDIS Coordinator (National Disability Insurance Scheme) to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team.

Key Duties include:

- Coordinate service requests for people under 65 years for NDIS
- Undertake timely client assessments, including client eligibility for access to the NDIS program
- Ensure timely reviews of service provisions for clients
- Coordinate client data through the NDIS provider portal and the Client Information Management System

**About you**
- Qualification in health and community services relevant to the role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet state and commonwealth reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including privacy, confidentiality and conflict of interest.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a wide range of organisations including community members/groups, people with disabilities and their careers and local/regional providers.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting and providing excellent customer service with a client centred focus and to advocate for clients.
- Experience and competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Approved National Police Check and current Victorian Driver Licence and Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

**_ Desirable_**
- Knowledge and experience with the NDIS and provider portal
- Knowledge and understanding of working with people with disabilities
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
