**The Company**

The business has a fantastic history stretching back over 100 years. They are manufacturers and suppliers of products into the Telecommunications and Utilities sectors occupying niche but essential parts of Australia’s infrastructure - water, power, rail, communications etc.

Known for their high-quality products, they deal with clients such as Telstra, Optus and a range of infrastructure companies providing innovative solutions to their customers.

Strong growth in recent years has seen them move into larger premises with the potential for re-establishing manufacturing here in Australia. The small team in Australia are well supported by international colleagues and facilities. The office and warehouse is based in Baulkham Hills.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Australian Director, you’ll be a ‘lead by example’ person leading a small team of 3 and will be involved with all warehouse operations. This is an integral role to the company’s supply chain in Australia.
- Your tasks and duties will include:_
- Freight and logistics management - managing all inbound/outbound deliveries and helping with loading/unloading where required (must have forklift licence)
- Inventory management - cycle counts, stocktaking etc., ensuring all data is accurately entered into the system (Oracle)
- Reviewing warehouse layout and ensuring optimal workflow
- Working with the Purchasing and Customer Care team and ensuring prompt communications to the customer regarding deliveries
- Keeping the warehouse tidy with a focus on a safe environment

**About You**
- For success in this role, you need:_
- To have your Forklift licence - ESSENTIAL, high reach experience
- Strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach - sometimes you’ll need to be helping with picking and packing, some basic assembly of kits etc.
- Experience in optimising warehouse layouts and processes for efficiency with a strong eye on safety
- A friendly and helpful attitude to your staff and your customers, good communication skills
- To be proficient with warehouse management software - Oracle preferred but not essential
