**The Opportunity**
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children's learning and development.
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

**About the centre**:
Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Abbotsford Our spacious, bright and welcoming early learning centre in Abbotsford provides leading learning programs in a nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to six years.

Our 120 place centre includes a rooftop garden where children engage in our Gardening and Sustainability program, mud play, sandpit play and other outdoor exploration. Located close to Victoria Street, the centre has easy access to public transport.

Supported through a passionate and dedicated team, our day care in Abbotsford is an inclusive learning environment; a personalised approach ensures each child is supported to be bold, creative, and curious in their learning journey.

Families will also be given access to our family communication app Storypark, where we will share with you any significant updates in your child’s day, as well as any other important updates that happen in the centre - ensuring that you’re always connected, even when you’re not here.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the Centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,050 a year for children aged three years old and above in eligible long day cares in 2024. Ask us for more information when you visit our Centre.

**To be considered, you will have**:

- A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children's Services
- Prior experience in long day-care
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
- Current Working with Children's Check.
