Sensible Care is an approved provider of Home Care Packages and we are looking for compassionate and reliable casual Home Care Workers to provide excellent home-based care services to our senior client base around Lalor, Mill Park, South Morang, Epping, Thomastown and surrounding suburbs of Melbourne.
The Home Care Workers typically provide these services:
- companionship and social support,
- transport to appointments,
- personal care,
- respite care,
- domestic assistance and light housekeeping duties, and
- overnight stay.
As a Home Care Worker, you should be a dependable, responsible, calm and practical person and have (or willing to obtain) the following:
- A clear Police Check certificate
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- First Aid and CPR and Manual Handling certificates
- Certificate III in Aged, Individual Support or similar (if you don't have these qualifications and want to obtain, we can assist with the process)
- A caring and positive attitude with strong communication skills.
- A current driver’s licence.
- A reliable roadworthy vehicle and car insurance.
- Willingness to travel to clients’ homes to provide services and being prepared to take on transport shifts.
- Ability to work on multiple days and at different shifts.

**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Experience**:
- Home care: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
