**Description**

Do you want to be an integral part of supporting RACQ to manage the risks involved in business today? As a professional you will use your analytical, system and reporting skills to ensure RACQs information requirements across enterprise risk management are met.

As our Principal Risk Analytics & Systems Lead, you will manage the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the enterprise risk management information system (GRC); and delivery of agreed reporting and analytics to meet our risk information requirements.

This role is critical to efficiently provide leaders with the right information so they can understand and manage any risks in the business. As Principal Risk Analytics & Systems Advisor you will contribute to the review and challenge of management’s implementation of the risk management framework, through deep dive analysis of data captured to manage risk.

In this role, you’ll be a trusted expert in analysing, identifying, developing, and implementing information system requirements, and the supporting analytics consistent with CPS220 Risk Management and other obligations.

**Key deliverables**:

- Develop strong working relationships with first line, second line and third line colleagues across the organisation.
- Understand business objectives and increase business understanding of risk and compliance imperatives.
- Day to day operational contact with the organisation’s GRC provider (Protecht) during BAU service periods, and periods of disruption or heightened stress.
- Operational lead to review and accept vendor’s GRC system release notes, business acceptance testing, and prepare internal advice of key system changes and time periods in preparation for GRC releases.
- Consulting with first and second line representatives on risk system and reporting design features that enable sustainable CPS 220 compliance.
- Evaluate and recommend risk architecture design improvements to mature risk reporting and systems utilisation to the target risk maturity state.
- Influence, collaborate with, and support, other risk, compliance and business continuity functional staff.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience developing risk management information systems to enable sustained compliance with Australian prudential framework, and regulation.
- Experience facilitating management information systems for APRA regulated institutions
- 3+ years maintaining data frameworks suitable across business lines
- 3+ years modelling or auditing forward looking scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Highly developed analytical skills, demonstrating the capability to analyse and interpret complex information from a broad range of sources, and to present findings in a clear and compelling manner
- Proven experience working with business owners, technology partners and vendors to ensure business requirements are translated into pragmatic, compliance risk system solutions.
- An enquiring mind and inquisitive nature to bore into issues, practices or organisations regardless of obstacles.
- Courage to speak-up
- Critical analysis of complex problems to uncover hidden insights.
- Coding capabilities in relation to data analytics or database administration.
