Mechanical Draftsperson

Based in Adelaide’s Northern suburbs, **Sekisui Rib Loc Australia Pty Ltd** is part of the global network of **Sekisui Chemical Co. Ltd. ** We pride ourselves in the provision of superior **pipe rehabilitation **technologies, combined with **technical support** of our customers throughout Australia and the world.

Working as part of a small but experienced team, your focus will be to design/improve extrusion tooling & equipment using **Autodesk Inventor **with drawings compliant with the company set quality standard as well as **AS1100.**

If you possess superior design CAD skills underpinned by hands-on engineering/trade experience in tooling/parts & related equipment in a manufacturing setting, we would like to hear from you.

**As the Draftsperson you will**:

- Carry out new designs, improvements and modifications as required by internal and external stakeholders
- Actively participate in new & existing Extrusion Tooling & Plant Equipment testing and development
- Ensure that all manufactured tools are in accordance with current drawings

**To be successful this role you will have**:

- **Hands-on CAD **experience in a trade/engineering field, ideally within a manufacturing & extrusion tooling environment
- Proven management of engineering/drawing projects demonstrating **Inventor **prowess
- **Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical Design) **and/or **Toolmaking** trade - highly desirable
- A **quality systems approach** with an ability to be adaptable to changing directions and tight timelines
- **Self-motivated** with excellent **communication & time management skills** with a willingness to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
