**Your new role**

As the **Data Governance **Analyst **within the Data Governance and Management team**, **your role is pivotal. You will play a key part in planning and spearheading the execution of various critical tasks including strategic analysis of data management requirements, solution designs, the enforcement and refinement of policies and standards, and the oversight of operational activities.

Your primary responsibility is to drive the advancement and maturity of Data Management capabilities across the enterprise, thereby enhancing the organization's ability to leverage its data as an asset.

**What you’ll need to excel**
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science economics, statistics, mathematics or engineering, science
- Strong experience in Data Governance and delivering the development of operating frameworks, policies, roles, instructional material, and training.
- Proven Experience of participation in of Data Quality requirements and assessing and monitoring data quality on a given dataset through SQL, Data Integration, or specialised Data Quality toolsets.
- Solid Metadata Management Experience in participation and delivering the identification, classifying, and cataloguing disparate data sources data in a standardised format.
- Experience in Change Management with ability to effectively engage, communicate and collaborate as well as navigate and influence stakeholders
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills are key to your success in this role, with ability to foster productive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality data related advice & services
