We are currently searching for experienced Storeperson to perform a range of stores and warehousing tasks at our Branch.
Full Time, Permanent position working 38 hours per week plus overtime.
Opportunity on Day Shift working 0800-1630, Monday to Friday.
**Job Description**:

- Pick, pack and load customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner using material handling equipment.
- Receive and dispatch orders from the warehouse as directed, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing items are properly accounted for and checked against documentation
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through accuracy of picking and despatching goods along with ensuring product is in good condition.
- Consistently achieve personal and warehouse KPI targets, set by the business and management.
- Prepare and ensure that any required paperwork and documentation in a neat and ac
- curate manner and handled in accordance with procedures and policies.
- Responsible for loading/unloading vehicles, ensuring products are properly transported, and in no way a danger to the general public or employees, abiding by COR requirements.
- Conduct stock takes as and when required by the business.
- Ensure forklifts are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition and defects or delays in repairs are reported to your manager.
- Ensure that all personal licences or permits pertaining to current position of employment are current.
- Able to work a reasonable amount of overtime and support during peak periods as required.
- Be responsible for yourself, work colleagues, company equipment and goods as per Bunzl policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Any other duties within your abilities as directed.

Qualifications:

- Secondary School Completion or equivalent.
- Dangerous Goods Awareness Training preferred.
- Certificate III Warehousing preferred.
- A valid Forklift Licence (LF).
- A valid Store Picker Licence desirable (LO).
- Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
- Demonstrates technical knowledge of techniques, skills, equipment, procedures, and materials.
- Experience with RF gun, Voice Picking or Pick to light advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing the operation of forklifts and pedestrian responsibility.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage in professional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Understanding of WHS Legislation.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
