The Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit (CTSU) at Flinders Medical Centre offers surgical treatment for a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic conditions, performing over 500 cardiac and 200 thoracic surgeries annually. Learn more about the Unit on our website.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cardiothoracic Service Registrar to join our team. Key **duties** include:

- Perform surgical procedures under the guidance of experienced cardiothoracic surgeons, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.
- Provide comprehensive care to inpatients, including pre-operative and post-operative management, ensuring the highest standards of patient well-being.
- Offer outpatient consultations, diagnosing and treating patients with various cardiothoracic conditions.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior medical officers and medical students, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in audits to enhance patient care and outcomes.
